Needle Roller Bearings are a type of roller bearings and are classified as either radial or thrust depending on the direction of the load they support. This bearing type is composed of an outer ring drawn from a thin steel plate by precision drawing, needle rollers and a cage assembled in the outer ring. It is Design to use a shaft as the direct raceway surface without using inner ring. The outer ring of this bearing type is of such a construction that the needle rollers and the cage are not separated from one another, so that the bearing is only press-fitted in a rigid housing with proper fit torque. Thus, this bearing type needs no snap ring, etc. to fix itself in axial direction and, in addition, is easy to handle.
